Human authors remain fully responsible for the content.

Compliance with International Standards

IJMSOR aligns its editorial practices with:

  • Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)
  • Elsevier Publishing Ethics Resource Kit (PERK)
  • Singapore Statement on Research Integrity

These frameworks guide all editorial and publication processes.

Image Integrity

The International Journal of Management Science and Operations Research (IJMSOR) requires that all images, figures, graphs, and visual representations included in submitted manuscripts accurately and transparently reflect the original research data.

Authors must ensure that images have not been manipulated in a misleading manner, selectively altered, or modified in ways that could result in misinterpretation of the findings.

Technical adjustments to images are permitted only when they do not alter the scientific content. In particular:

  • Adjustments to brightness, contrast, or color must be applied uniformly across the entire image
  • Selective removal, addition, or modification of elements is not permitted
  • Any manipulation that alters the interpretation of the data is strictly prohibited

Any technical modifications must be clearly disclosed in the manuscript.

For composite images, authors must explicitly indicate how the elements have been combined and ensure that the presentation does not lead to misinterpretation of the results.

Authors are responsible for retaining the original image files and must be able to provide them upon request by the editorial team.

The use of images generated through artificial intelligence must be explicitly disclosed, including the tools used, and must not compromise the scientific validity of the study.
