Types of Articles

The International Journal of Management Science and Operations Research (IJMSOR) publishes different types of scientific contributions aimed at advancing knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, Operations Research, and Management Analytics, prioritizing methodological rigor, scientific relevance, and practical applicability.

All manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by other journals.

The journal accepts the following types of articles:

 

Research Article

A manuscript presenting original results derived from a scientific research process. It must follow a clear structure including introduction, theoretical framework, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusions. Strong methodological rigor and significant contribution to the field are expected.

Review Article

A paper that synthesizes, analyzes, and integrates findings from previous research on a specific topic. It should include a systematic or critical literature review, identifying research trends, gaps, and future directions.

Reflection Article

A manuscript that develops a critical, interpretative, or argumentative analysis based on research findings or a solid theoretical framework. Its purpose is to foster academic discussion and provide new perspectives.

Methodological or Technical Article

A contribution focused on the development, validation, or application of methods, models, algorithms, or analytical tools, including artificial intelligence, mathematical modeling, simulation, optimization, and advanced analytics.

Case Study

A detailed analysis of a real-world situation in organizational, business, or public policy contexts, applying analytical methodologies or decision-making models to understand and solve complex problems.

Technical Note or Short Communication

A brief document presenting preliminary results, technical developments, or partial findings, with a focused contribution.
