Editorial Policy

The International Journal of Management Science and Operations Research (IJMSOR) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing original and unpublished research in Artificial Intelligence, Operations Research, and Management Analytics, with a focus on data-driven decision-making in organizational and public policy contexts.

The journal promotes high-quality scientific contributions, prioritizing methodological rigor, disciplinary relevance, and the ability to address complex real-world challenges, particularly in emerging economies.

Editorial Evaluation Criteria

Manuscripts are evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Originality and novelty
  • Methodological rigor and validity
  • Scientific contribution and relevance
  • Structural coherence and clarity
  • Alignment with the journal’s scope

Editorial decisions are based exclusively on these criteria, ensuring objectivity and transparency.

Editorial Process

All submissions follow a structured editorial workflow:

  1. Initial editorial screening (pre-check): scope alignment, formatting compliance, ethical verification, and originality check.
  2. Double-blind peer review: at least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript.
  3. Editorial decision: acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection.
  4. Final editing and publication: copyediting, formatting, DOI assignment, and continuous publication.

The average review time is 6–8 weeks, and the acceptance rate ranges from 25% to 35%.

Editorial Independence

IJMSOR ensures full editorial independence. Decisions are made exclusively based on scientific merit and are not influenced by institutional, financial, or personal interests.

 Endogamy Control and Academic Diversity

To ensure institutional diversity and international visibility, IJMSOR applies a quantitative endogamy control policy.

The proportion of authors affiliated with the publisher’s institution must not exceed 30% of the total number of authors per annual volume. This calculation is based on the aggregate number of authors across all published articles.

Submissions from editorial board members or affiliated institutions are subject to additional control mechanisms, including independent editorial handling and strict double-blind review.

Internationalization and Editorial Quality

The journal promotes international participation in authorship, peer review, and editorial management. Editorial members and reviewers are selected based on their academic trajectory and research output.

IJMSOR is committed to continuous improvement and alignment with international standards required by scientific indexing systems.
