Submissions

The International Journal of Management Science and Operations Research (IJMSOR) invites the submission of original, unpublished, and high-quality manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, Operations Research, and Management Analytics.

All submissions must fall within the journal’s scope and demonstrate clear theoretical, methodological, or applied contributions to data-driven decision-making in organizational and public policy contexts.

 

Editorial Workflow

All manuscripts are submitted through the journal’s online editorial system and undergo a structured multi-stage evaluation process:

  1. Initial Editorial Screening (Pre-check)
    • Scope alignment
    • Compliance with formatting guidelines
    • Ethical and originality verification
  2. Double-Blind Peer Review
    • Evaluation by at least two independent reviewers
    • Assessment based on originality, rigor, contribution, and relevance
  3. Editorial Decision
    • Acceptance
    • Minor revision
    • Major revision
    • Rejection
  4. Final Acceptance and Publication
    • Copyediting and formatting
    • DOI assignment
    • Online publication under continuous model

 Submission Requirements

Authors must ensure that:

  • The manuscript is original and not under consideration by another journal
  • All authors have made substantial contributions and approved the submission
  • All authors provide valid ORCID identifiers
  • A corresponding author is clearly designated with institutional email
  • The manuscript complies with all ethical and editorial standards

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must meet the following technical requirements:

  • Submitted in Microsoft Word format (.docx)
  • Fully anonymized for double-blind review (no author-identifying information)
  • Structured according to journal guidelines (IMRaD format)
  • Figures and tables clearly labeled, titled, and referenced
  • Mathematical expressions and symbols properly formatted 

Language Policy

  • Manuscripts may be submitted in English or Spanish.
  • Authors are responsible for ensuring:
  • Academic writing quality
  • Clarity and coherence
  • Professional language editing (if required)

Ethical and Legal Compliance

All submissions must comply with:

  • COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines
  • Declaration of originality
  • Conflict of interest disclosure
  • Ethical approval (when applicable)
  • The journal applies plagiarism detection tools (e.g., Turnitin, iThenticate).

Data Transparency and Reproducibility

Authors are required to include:

  • A Data Availability Statement
  • Information on data sources, code, or materials (when applicable)

 Use of Artificial Intelligence

Authors must declare the use of AI tools in manuscript preparation.

AI tools:

  • Must not be listed as authors
  • Do not replace author responsibility

Pre-Submission Checklist

  • Authors must complete the Author Checklist before submission.
  • Failure to comply may result in immediate rejection during the editorial screening phase.

  • Average review time: 6–8 weeks
  • Acceptance rate: 25%–35%
