Intellectual Property and Copyright Policy

The International Journal of Management Science and Operations Research (IJMSOR) recognizes and protects authors’ intellectual property rights while ensuring open access and global dissemination of scientific knowledge.

 

 1. Copyright ownership: Authors retain copyright of their work. However, upon submission and acceptance, authors grant the journal a license to:

  • Publish, reproduce, and distribute the article
  • Disseminate content through digital platforms, databases, and indexing systems
  • Ensure long-term preservation and accessibility

This agreement is formalized through the copyright transfer and publication authorization form, submitted during the manuscript submission process.

 2. Publication license: All IJMSOR articles are published under the license: Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0)

This license allows:

  • Sharing and redistribution in any medium or format
  • Proper attribution to the original authors and source
  • No commercial use
  • No modifications or derivative works

 3. Reuse and self-archiving rights: Authors may:

  • Deposit the published version in institutional or thematic repositories
  • Share the article through academic and scientific networks
  • Use the content for teaching and academic purposes

Provided that proper attribution is given and license terms are respected.

 4. Originality and author responsibility: Authors guarantee that:

  • The manuscript is original and unpublished
  • It does not infringe third-party rights
  • Permissions have been obtained for any copyrighted material used

 5. Third-party use: Users may use IJMSOR content under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license, which allows:

  • Non-commercial use
  • Mandatory attribution
  • No modification of the original work

 6. Infringement management: In cases of suspected copyright infringement:

  • The editorial team will investigate following international standards
  • Actions may include correction, retraction, or removal
  • Institutions may be notified if necessary

 7. Ethical and legal compliance: IJMSOR adheres to:

  • Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works
  • Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines
  • International scholarly publishing standards
