Abstract

This paper examines the logistics strategies implemented in manufacturing microenterprises in the city of Barranquilla. It analyzes how microenterprises in Bar- ranquilla have implemented logistics strategies to improve their efficiency and competitiveness in the market. The impor- tance of logistics in the companies is defined and how a good logistics management can improve their efficiency and profit- ability. Then, the problem addressed in the research is pre- sented: the need to improve efficiency in the area of logistics in micro manufacturing companies in the city of Barranquilla. The methodology includes the review of specialized literature, interviews with experts on the subject and the application of surveys to micro manufacturing companies in Barranquilla. The results present the research findings, including the most common logistics strategies used by microenterprises in Bar- ranquilla, such as the optimization of transportation routes, inventory management and the implementation of technology for monitoring logistics processes. It also describes the benefits that companies have obtained by implementing these strate- gies, such as reduced costs and delivery times, and improved customer satisfaction. Finally, the conclusions and recommen- dations of the research are presented, including the importance of implementing logistics strategies in microenterprises to improve their competitiveness in the market, and the need to continue researching and updating these strategies to adapt to changes in the business environment.
